SOLON SOLbond Integra: The New Innovative Solar Roof System from SOLON and Tata Steel

SOLON and Tata Steel are pleased to introduce the innovative photovoltaic system SOLON ‘SOLbond Integra’. The system consists of high efficiency SOLON PV modules weighing less than 10 kg/m2; a pre-finished steel roof system made from Colorcoat Prisma® by Tata Steel, and a bonding adhesive enabling the installation of PV panels directly onto the roof surface.

This integrated renewable energy system provides numerous advantages:
Compatible manufacturer guarantees on the individual system components; on the function and durability of the Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel that makes up the outer skin of the roof system; on the silicone adhesive compound tested by Sika Deutschland GmbH; and on the SOLON photovoltaic modules which are covered by a 10 year product warranty and a 25 year performance guarantee that protects your investment for up to 25 years.

Additionally, the easy application of adhesive allows a simple and fast installation of the SOLON SOLbond Integra without any roof penetration or sub-mounting system. The lighter weight of the frameless modules (less than 10 kg/m2) also suits roofs with low static loads. As a complete solar solution, the powerful SOLON modules provide a surface area efficiency of up to 155 Wp/m2.

“This is the optimal solution for anyone who is planning a new metal roof equipped with a photovoltaic system, for example on a warehouse or manufacturing building,” says Stefan Säuberlich, CEO of SOLON SE. “The SOLON SOLbond Integra delivers an outstanding roof-integrated PV system.”

The SOLON SOLbond Integra is now available Europe-wide from SOLON and Tata Steel supply chain partners. SOLON also offers solutions for existing trapezoidal, sandwich, and standing seam roofs.
