Many people rushed to install solar PV before March 3rd 2012 hoping to secure a potentially higher feed-in tariff rate of 43.3p per kWh following an appeal by the government to the Supreme Court to lower the rate.
As installers were frantically completing installations, the vital paper work required to register each customer was often being overlooked but the EasyFiTCo were able to bridge the gap, completing the necessary forms and submitting the applications.
The EasyFITCo is primarily aimed at MCS approved installers who want to provide a complete service for their customers while reducing administrative effort. However, we are happy to assist private individuals seeking help with registration. End customers often feel abandoned by their installers and are unsure of the process to register for their payments.
Users of the website are able to submit the necessary information via a secure user area. EasyFiTCo then take control of the time consuming process, contacting end customers to gather and clarify information such as mpan numbers and proofs of I.D in order to complete and file the FiT registration forms on behalf of busy installers. Often the process is completed within 48 hours and our progress is viewable from the individual user area.
